Before you can start fishing in Slam Ass Bass, you need a Solana wallet to hold your $SLAM tokens, equipment NFTs, and fish catches. This guide will get you set up quickly.

🔧 Setup Steps​

Step 1: Install Your Wallet​

  1. Go to phantom.app or your chosen wallet
  2. Download the browser extension or mobile app
  3. Follow the installation instructions
  4. Important: Write down your seed phrase and store it safely!
Security Warning

Never share your seed phrase! This gives complete control of your wallet. Store it somewhere safe and private.

Step 2: Fund Your Wallet​

You need two types of tokens:

SOL (for transaction fees)​

  • Amount needed: ~0.01-0.1 SOL (about $2-20)
  • Purpose: Pay for blockchain transactions
  • Where to buy: Coinbase, Binance, or directly in Phantom

$SLAM (to buy packs)​

  • Purpose: Purchase equipment packs to start fishing
  • Where to buy: Meteora Pool

Step 3: Connect to SAB​

  1. Open Slam Ass Bass
  2. Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right
  3. Select your wallet (Phantom/Solflare)
  4. Approve the connection
